About Mihaela Paraschivu

  • Biography

Mihaela Paraschivu’s narrative paintings, filled with detail, are characterised by the atmosphere of a night vision: a fabulous course of events may turn into a nightmare at any moment. The main characters depicted on her canvases are often children, and the presented scenery is created by children’s rooms, toys and mascots. The paintings are maintained in dark tones, with accents of intense pink or red.
