About Michael Jules Lang

I enjoy all genres with portraits being my favourite because there’s a magical moment, if lucky, while painting a portrait when the jumble of coloured shapes suddenly transforms into the sitter; I also paint still lifes, interiors and intense landscapes. I use oil paint for my artworks because its sheer lusciousness and ooziness are irresistible.
I am an award winner and have shown in many exhibitions including the Royal Institute of Oil Painters and Artists of the Year.
