'Belladonna' offers cherries while 'Baby Moses' is in the underpainting stage. The lady has read her missive in 'Fond Regards' as the girl behind checks her social media status in 'Like Me' Above her Freddie Mercury sings 'We Are The Champions' and above him, me as a boy fishes out the bottles from a lost world in hope of a message in 'Return To Sender'

    Rockstars & Street Parties

Working on a scene from a 1953 Queens coronation party in a Belfast street. 'Jimi' plays All along the watch tower in the background. My little sister as a child brushes Mrs Mahwinneys dog and also features on the top of the circular canvas. Another sister is to the left while yet another on the bottom. She also features in my ' Sister of the Sky' painting next to 'Jimi'

Behind the easel Madonna Queen Of Rock follows my work in progress as Jimi Hendrix plays Hey Joe from the back of the studio. At my foot grandad's dog Gyp still peers into the empty parlour hoping for his masters return. Above Grandad's Parlour, my little sister Olive fusses over Mrs. Mawhinney's reluctant 'Fifi' while the unpainted children on the easel appear as little lost ghosts from another time and place. The little boy William in the centre with his back to the viewer still lives in that East Belfast street, now a retired school teacher. His Dad took the photo on the 2nd of June 1953.
