This is my 2nd purchase of one of Matthews' stunning pieces of Art, I love the colours of my crab, the sandy 'background' perfectly complements the deep chocolate of its' body. A very evocative portrait of a Devon crab, I would go out for long walks along deserted beaches with my dad; Grandad and our dog "Annis", who would bound up to crabs gyrating along the sand, many times a big pair of pincers would come forward and the dog would run away...sensible girl! Matthew has a great skill in giving a solid 'weight' to his subjects, this is one tough looking crab, we used to go back to Brixham harbour to buy fresh crab meat for supper and this would come in the shell, I shall remember these times every time I look at my painting. Kudos to Matthews' wife who packs them up so well, wrapped in style. Thank you.

Wow! My laptop did not show Matthews' artwork to its' best advantage, as soon as this painting arrived, beautifully packed (thanks for the card), and I opened up the package I could see the skill; talent and Artistic flair in Matthew's use of colours and his subtle brushwork. This is one gorgeous cat rendered perfectly, I love those piercing green eyes and that little pink nose. I have a spot picked out for it to hang so I can sit back and enjoy my paining every day. Bravo! Thank you Matthew. Your other pieces are also first class too.

Purchased the painting for my husband. We love it! Good communication with Matt. Packaging was a work of art on its own! He even popped in some freebies. Nice touch. I would certainly recommend this artist's work to everybody. Pleasure dealing with him.
