Usually when I purchase an item on Artfinder I receive a note of acknowledgement or thanks from the artist. We have not communicated at all regarding the purchase. The artwork arrived in a tube that had been crushed and the plastic end piece had disappeared, exposing the artwork. Fortunately, the only issue was a crease in the artwork which I flattened and framed. It looks okay. I love the artwork and it is just as described.

Firstly, thank you for buying the painting, I'm glad that you "love the artwork" and secondly , I can only apologize for the tube being damaged in transit. I guess that the end cap was removed by customs who didnt put it back on properly. I used a reputable courier and sturdy packaging materials but I cant be held responsible for careless handling once it has left my care and is in transit. I have sold and shipped more than a thousand paintings worldwide and this is only the second time that a tube has been "crushed" - ( both times in the USA) unfortunately it happens on very rare occasions and is beyond my control.

The artwork I purchased offers positive emotions, so I am delighted to have it. It's been a pleasure to communicate with Martin Whittam. The packaging was as it supposed to be. The parcel arrived without delays. I recommend this art to everyone who likes naive painting or searches for original artworks to decorate children's room.

A wonderful piece of art for a great price. Packaged really well but some creasing on the painting, I guess because it is quite stiff paper and would be difficult to roll. Arrived very quickly. I love Martin’s work, very strong memories of home for me, made even stronger when I saw that the artist is from the same area!
