Spring Greens Fair - Photographer of the Year
First established in 2008, by 2013 Spring Greens Fair was formally incorporated as a co-operative. Described as a family-friendly networking event for mutual education and the demonstration of innovative ideas, we learn from the past, live well in the present and look to make a brighter future, whilst having lots of fun along the way.
Photographer of the Year is the annual award in remembrance of early Spring Greens pioneer Ruth Morgan. The aim is to help promote local photographers working on themes around the environment, community and sustainability.

Biography
I am a photographer and digital artist specialising in Trees and Woodlands.
Trees provide us with food, shelter, shade and fuel but also possess a natural beauty of form. I believe that contemplating a tree, a woodland or a treescape induces tranquility and my artworks try to capture some of this beauty and sense of peace.
Working from high resolution digital photographic images I produce limited edition mixed media artworks and prints using highly textured watercolor papers.
