About Maria Cunha

  • Biography

As a child, every time I would come across a work of art I would observe it, trying to unravel all its hidden mysteries. Each stroke of the brush, each stage, each underlying feeling until the work was finally complete.

I would try to unravel this web of feelings, thoughts and beauty underneath our eyes.

This curiosity is still in me today. A work of art has a life of its own and it is fascinating to discover it.
