  • Biography

Hello, My name is Lynda, and I guess I have been an art student since childhood. I have always loved drawing and painting, but in the hustle and bustle of married life,  working and bringing up a family, like many other people, there was no question of finding time to paint.

As the family grew up, I did manage a few night school classes, took a few courses, entered a few competitions, won a few always promised myself that when I retired I would take it more seriously. And so I did, I joined a wonderful little art society workshop, no set pieces, just do your own thing ! suited me fine ! With the help and patience of the instructors I actually produced a painting that was worthy to hang on my wall ! That was the start of it, I did not want to narrow my view to any one subject, and have tried to be as wide in choice as I can, so expect to see Animals, Seascapes ,Dancers trees and flowers, I will have a go at them all. No, I do not find painting a relaxing hobby, blood sweat and tears more like, but the end result, yes a lovely feeling of satisfaction, a job worth while.
