This watercolour iris is incredibly beautiful, such sensitive and detailed and exquisite colouring. The texture of the petals is so perfect that I can almost sense the perfume of the flower. There are many iris paintings out there but this one stands high above all the rest . Sheer delight. Breathtaking.
