About Leszek Pankowski

I am a self-taught artist, and I am painting for several years. I lived in many places in Europe and Asia, and now I stay in France in the small picturesque town near Paris. I enjoy playing with colours, mixing them and applying in different shapes and layers. The principal source of my inspiration is surrounding nature contemplated during long walks to the parks, woods and the board of the Marne river. The images are impressed not only by direct observation but by photos taken by me on different occasions and also by my dreams and memories from my travels. I love painting non-figurative abstracts and sometimes landscapes and florals. I create my works with acrylics and watercolours. Painting became my passion, and I would like to share it with you.
