  • Biography
    Abstract Painter

Born in Wales in 1952, I spent most of my life traveling the world, working in such diverse locations as Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Nigeria, Brunei, Singapore and Bahrain, self taught, with a bag full of different cultures. All of them seem to sometimes argue for space, sometimes live in extreme comfort with each other. Asian, sentiments are maybe expressed the strongest after a 12 year stint in Singapore, but clear African influences also color the expressions.

“I arrived late at the creative station in me... I don’t think I even knew there existed such a station, but here I am, the train has moved on and I am happily settling in, totally self taught, I have acquired painting skills and love to apply them to canvas, hoping you will enjoy them too.

My life as an artist is a galaxy I am allowed to furnish with my own imagination, my own words interpreted into sometimes very serious, other times, quite whimsical art. I am a private person, so the solitude that comes with being an artists, feels like a haven, an Eden, the place I want to be.”
