Work on ATLAS XXI (The Epoch collection)

Seeing the world through smartphone’s lens is an indelible part of modern life. These “filters” between us and the surrounding world have long become an organic part of reality. The collection of conceptual artworks “The Epoch” calls everyone to mindfulness in a modern world, where attention is the main commodity. We drew inspiration mostly from the works of Charlie Brooker, the creator of Black Mirror television series, and Ray Bradbury’s books, in particular “Fahrenheit 451”. You can find the reflection of the Black Mirror in a part of DAVID XXI’s eyes and in some parts of ZEUS XXI’s and ATLAS XXI’s face. This element will be present in every artwork of this collection. Scratches on Black Mirror are not abstract – they are the numbers SIX SEVEN EIGHT NINE TEN.
