Biography
When I consider what it means to be able to put what I 'see' down on canvas...I remember what it was like the very first time I picked up a paintbrush and the joy I felt in being able to create something on the blank surface. Once I was able to find resources to enabled me to learn the basic techniques and concepts of oil painting, I was free to reveal and render my own style and interpretation of subjects that I found the beauty and meaning in.
My work consists of original & commissioned oil paintings, with the focus on emphasizing color, texture, and form; thereby enhancing the natural beauty of the subject. I believe an integral part of being able to express your own vision, is to put your version down on canvas, paper or other form of artistic expression.
