    Hello!
    My name is Joanna and I am from Poland.
    What is art for me? What an interesting question...how to define it???
    Probably there is not only one definition. Probably we are not even able to agree what it is. Probably we don't even need a definition!! But let's give a try...
    For me art is the representation of a set of emotions projected on a certain discipline according to the subjectivity of the author. The disciplines include any single one you can imagine. Could be in dancing or could be in sewing, could be painting or could be cooking. If art contains every single thing on which we leave a trace of our unique and unrepeatable personality, art can be any thing you choose as long as you put your heart on it. 
    Each one chooses his way, and my way turned out to be painting. Why painting? Well, probably because of the richness that colours, shapes, shadows and intensities offer to our capacity of expression. It's a nice discipline completely flexible when it comes to satisfy your creativity's appetite.
    Painting as an artist I have tried different techniques. I usually work with oil, acrylic, watercolour and glass paints. I like to combine the different characteristics of these methods in order to optimize the most accurate reflection of my feelings expressed on my works.
