I create with the hand of an architect and the heart of a computer scientist. This commingling of worlds - sometimes chaotic, sometimes sensible - result in intricate pen and ink drawings that are almost always done completely freehand, and rarely with an overall composition in mind. These pieces are a visual window to a constantly branching inner monologue, embedded with tiny glimpses into physics, topology, cryptography, the design and destruction of systems, and human fallibility. With a fine tipped pen and tiny strokes of mica pigment, I sketch out speculations on what might happen when these domains collide. Chance versus intention, methodic versus mania, the analytical and the absurd - what is found within the in-between?
