Biography
My paintings focus on my urban surroundings, heavily influenced by landscape photography. I try to capture both the real and the emotional, often allowing the canvas to be open to interpretation for the viewer. The mixed media I use give strong texturing and a third dimension to the paintings where physicality and a layering effect are dominant, evoking a sense of time and space.
