    MOON BLOOMS....

    MOON BLOOMS....

    It was a full moon last night here in Yorkshire. The night was clear, crisp and bright and the moon had that golden ring around it, which you sometimes see.     MUDDY PUDDLES!!!

    MUDDY PUDDLES!!!

    Every muddy puddle we came across on our walk today - and there were plenty, as it's been wet and cold here - Bella just dove into, as if she were an olympic swimmer!! She enjoyed splashing around in these deep puddles so much - it made me laugh - even though she came out and shook herself near me, leaving me as muddy as she was!!     MY DELIGHTFUL ASSISTANT

    We live in the countryside, surrounded by fields of wild flowers, animals and a huge assortment of birds. Each morning we go on a long walk together and I come back with new and exciting ideas for paintings. As every one of my paintings begins with a story, which usually starts on our walks together. We may see some deer or beautiful poppies and wild flowers while we are out and so I come back and paint, while Bella lays at the bottom of my easel, fast asleep and snoring!!
