About JAVIER DELGADO

  • Biography
Since I was a child, painting provides me with a channel to connect with a higher source, a subtle state where to feel good, center myself and expand through creativity, beauty and goodwill. Over the years, I have focused on exploring ancient cultures and rituals, which led me to investigate various civilizations and their forms of expression. This process has invited me to learn from aboriginal crafts and frescos of the Mayan and Australian peoples, the evolution of Japanese art by centering on Ukiyo-e and Zen principles, and the influence of the Samkhya philosophy in Asia and India.

I embrace versatility, without adhering to a fixed style, without attachments to any expressive gesture or stated truth.
