Many of his designs have been recognised internationally; he has won the prestigious industry awards, including D&AD Silver, Promax Gold’s (the US and UK), and Royal Television Society Gold.
Over the last few years Jason Keeley has been developing the figurative themes in his bold and contemporary style. His artworks have been inspired by dance, human forms and by the works of the pop artists of the 60’s, particularly Bridget Riley. The artist has always loved dance but also been fascinated by the interpretation of sound in visual forms. For Jason Keeley, movement and music in harmony and unison create a very powerful and emotional language. Jason Keeley hopes his static works capture some of the emotional and visual dynamic of this.
Jason Keeley’s artworks have been created with the use of of photographic and computer software for over the last 20 years. He has been producing limited edition of silkscreens. Keeley’s figurative prints show movements through the repeated linear designs. Not one print shares the same representation of the dynamic human forms; it shows a versatile demonstration the artist's unique printing method of execution. Jason’s works not only focuses on dance and movements, but also evoke a vibrant emotional response from his audience.
