  • Biography
The aesthetic approach to the world, sensitivity to nature and man is strongly felt in my works. A person cannot fully exist without nature, only being in it, surrounded by its flora and fauna, a person feels fully himself. It is interesting that the emotion in each painting is perceived by the audience very individually - it causes joy or peace for someone, nostalgia or even sadness for others. In the last period I created a series of oil paintings, in which textiles and draperies of historical fabrics exhibited in greatest world museums are incorporated into the surroundings of imaginary characters and nature, as if taking spectators to another world, filled with colors, smells and birds. I turned to oil paints, often using the technique of oil glazing, popular in the 15th century in the Dutch school, when the painting is made by adding transparent layers to achieve the effect of transparency and "going out of the frame".
