Biography
I'm an experienced wildlife photographer with more than 15 years of practice, a member of Russian Union of Wildlife Photographers. Nature always inspired me - even in childhood, living in big city, I appreciated every small trip to natural places and could spend hours watching nature's beauty, especially mammals, birds and other living creatures. Apart just observing - I was keen on reading and learning about the species I see (and could see!) in wildlife, so studied their behavior, habitat and other peculiarities rather thoroughly.
One day, a clear feeling came to me, that just observing and studying wild nature - isn't sufficient for me. I wanted to share my experience, knowledge and beauty of nature with other people. In our world, full of fast pace, tons of narrow, but "every second important" tasks - contact with nature, I am sure - is a clear remedy and source of replenishment. So, why not to bring this idea to everyone who feels and needs the same, especially to those, who cannot touch it directly or regularly? Also, while not so obvious at first glance - nature, especially animals, can teach us many things.
So, this was the beginning.
All this time I periodically organized exhibitions of my work (personal and collaborative), successfully took part in different photography competitions (incl. domestic National Geographic contest), contributed to charity organizations and cooperated with National parks. Visited more than 30 countries, including far locations like Papua New Guinea and Falkland Islands. My artworks are peresented in various private collections. I use only top level professional photographic equipment and personally control printing process.
