Biography
I am an Artist from Nottingham, England. I paint colourful, textural pieces with a Street Art and Graffiti edge.
I take inspiration from many different sources. My use of bright colour palettes derives from a long standing love affair with Comic Books and Graffiti. Many of the marks that I use come from an interest in Primitive Art and Cave Paintings. I paint in a loose, instinctive way, putting emphasis on colour and mark making. I like to start pieces very loosely, gradually refining the work towards a balance between figurative and abstract.
