    Colour, on its own, can make you happy!

    Sometimes just looking at a palette full of vibrant colours makes you happy, for no reason other than just a nice combination of colours that just happened. Today, I got one of those patterns. Colour can be so influential on our moods; it's magical! It can be hard to guess what I am painting just from that. All will be revealed soon. :-)

    Painting is fun!

    Painting is fun!

    Painting a feminine hand from life. This is done in sight size which means you have to paint it from about a couple of meters away. Looking, going forward to make a mark, stepping back to see the whole thing and then going back to paint the next stoke. It's fantastic for keeping fit and as a bonus you can end up with a painting that looks very representational.
