Who doesn't stop, point and feel a little brighter when looking at a rainbow?!

Thank you for looking at my 'Live colourfully' collection...  I paint a 'prismatic reality' in acrylics- bringing out the beauty that is all around us, but sometimes goes unappreciated.

The majority of my pieces are done with a fine brush so I can achieve such detailing and pre use mark-marking.  Acrylics are my favourite medium for versatility, speed of drying, and the various effects I can achieve.  Unlike oils, I have to get it right first time, or paint over... Acrylics don't stay wet allowing the artists to wipe off and restart problem areas.  I have quite a crisp and contemporary style, but it's the vibrant palette that makes my pieces so striking and unusual.

Clients describe my work as thermal, psychedelic, a hint of fauvism.. that the colour gives the scene itself a whole new personality and appreciation (I smiled on hearing that one)  I call it prismatic,  My aim was to create aesthetically uplifting artwork, talking points, bring mood-lifting art into homes, and I absolutely love painting in this style.
