The painting ' from sail to diesel' is one in a selection of works which will be printed on billboards across the UK, raising awareness of climate change. Commission on sales will be donated to a renewable energy charity.

Biography
I've studied ceramic design, printmaking and education. I started oil painting as a child. Painting on location gives me a strong sense of connection to the place. I paint to explore and share the way I see, with and without my glasses. I'm inspired by Hockney, Fred Yates, O'Keeffe, Japanese art and post-impressionism. The coast in Devon and Cornwall was my subject for several years. I then moved to Spain in 2019, and was fortunate to live and paint by a lake for six months. Nature has been my source of inspiration, outdoor studio, and sanctuary.
