    GEORGE SAND PORTRAIT LISTENING TO CHOPIN AND ELOCUTION

    In the scenario of "Sand, Chopin and the others" evening in the Castle of Holešov, CZ there was a painting of George Sand standing beside the important Czech actress Hana Maciuchova and great pianist Ivo Kahánek. It was an incredible honor for me as a painter of this George Sand portrait to see the original in such an inspiring multi artistic milieu. For the art lovers: The next exhibitor at Castle Holešov will be Andy Warhol. His 100 big format artworks will be present from June 9th to October 1st, 2017.

    Creating Bohemian Crystal Jewelry in the highest located art gallery of my country (1050 meters above the sea level). One of the most fantastic things about "Galerie Celnice" is that you get there on skies directly from a nearby ski slope and get worm with the original metallic burner while creating your jewelry :-)

    HOW THE BIRMINGHAM MUSEUM AND ART GALLERY MADE ME CRY

    Wanted to visit the fantastic collection of The Pre-Raphaelites in the Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery because I wanted to see on the original paintings what shades used The Brothers for sky and lawn. From the brautiful circular entrance hall with gorgeous paintings that go up to the cieling, my head started to circulate too and my rotations ended in the gallery gift shop. To my absolute surprise and amazement, I not only found The Pre-Raphaelites postcards but also cards with my own painting with a lady on a ladder from my "The Blue Garden Collection" that is licensed by the Woodmansterne company. My further rotations through this amazing gallery made tears in my eyes (good ones) when I saw the tones that The Pre-Raphaelites used for the lawn and the sky. BTW: I love Britain.

    RUNNING OUT OF THE WHITE COLOR

    White is the color I run out of most often even on my summer paintings full of colors. ( I get most of the lighter tones by mixing them with white and this way I use a lot of it even if the final painting has no white spot). Imagine my consumption of white in Winter!
