  • Biography
This Concept was created in London and reflects the movement of transports and the flux of crowds exploring journeys and the energetic pulse of London in all its speeds. In one of Europe’s busiest shopping districts, Oxford Circus and central London. Blurreal Photography is a Statement on our perceptual experiences. The series captures the vigorous spirit of high street shoppers as they pass vibrant windows, crowds, traffic, and roadworks. Details of fashion accessories and textures are sprinkled into the mix of movements, attitudes, and gestures of contemporary individuals. Today’s world accessible technology evokes a global outburst and a fast-paced life. This adds a new flux to reality and speeds up human relationships with nature and the global planet creating an emotional source of representation challenging the human’s mind. The Technological shock, that we have been going through and that has only been achieved by accumulating knowledge throughout the centuries and the identity of our populations is affecting our lives and transform radically our values, attitudes, and priorities from one generation to the next generation. The work that I´m presenting, is my vision about the technology shock we are living. It is a concept conceived to explore, the sense of Motion, Emotion, Direction, and Dimension to what we are looking at, creating a fusion between colors and movements focus the attention to a selective part. I intend to filter elements of modern society focusing on details that reflect Human values and mankind´s diversity to capture People´s behavior and cultures, moods, deeds, tensions or harmonies. To achieve this, I explored a slow shutter speed technique combined with creative zooms, involving no post process digital manipulation. The indefinite results reflect the fast-paced times of the 21st century while iridescent colors translate the visual amalgam and rising of the digital era. Fernando Matoso
