About Erik Neimeijer

Erik Neimeijer is a Dutch rock 'n roll musician and painter of huge colorful paintings. His vibrant pictures of gambling men, planes, bulls, musicians, cars, lovers and tropicals scenes have a Caribbean vibe and and a loose but very recognizable style. Somewhere between Walt Disney and Diego Rivera he creates a dynamic, lovable and sturdy new world.

Erik Neimeijer (1982) was  educated as a Social Psychologist and plays guitar and sings in the non-stop touring   Dutch rockband Bökkers. In the summer of 2017 he had his first art-exhibition and started painting and showing his art at a incredible pace at several Dutch and Dutch-Caribean galleries in the same non-stop manner he plays his music. A 25-paintings solo-exhibition will open at the 27th of July at the Herman Brood Museum in the Netherlands.
