    Don't go chasing waterfalls

Well I've never been one to follow the rules. I have a slight obsession with them and it is always where I can be found. This was taken in Iceland and it was a paradise of landscapes and culture and the most beautiful waterfalls! Hidden away from the main roads. Iceland has protected it's environment so well. It is perfectly preserved and an absolute pleasure to be in. I got some of my favourite photographs I've ever taken from Iceland and I can't wait to go back!

    Safety first

    Safety first

I always like to face my fear and go to the highest points possible to get amazing photographs of the Irish coastline! 200 steps later I was at the top of the scafold structure and getting great snaps of the cliffs and waves crashing against the them. It is called the Gobbins cliff walk on island magee in northern ireland. It was first used over 100 years ago by victorian holiday makers - I have no idea how the ladies did it then in their huge dresses and silly shoes, the path was so dangerous then! 1900's thrill seekers!

    My first camera

    My first camera

20 years old taking my new Nikon d60 camera for a stroll among the parks in Manchester. I found the best way to learn and develop my craft was to take myself outside and practice practice practice. Find out what caught my eye, what made a good photograph and apply all my knowledge from studying film into my techniques!

    The top

    The top

Sometimes you have to climb for 6 hours, ignore the tiny earthquakes and look the other way from the 1000 feet sheer drop, to get to the very top of mount Aenos in Greece to get the best view! Was it worth it? Big fat YES! That's the way you get the best photographs, tiny bit of struggle and big pay offs!

    Fiskardo Harbour

    Fiskardo Harbour

The light and architecture from my recent travels to the Greek island of Kefalonia have inspired me endlessly. The history and beauty, the traditions and carefully kept balance between modern customs and their cultural heritage. It was perfection and I can't wait to get creating and perhaps sell a few Island prints!

    Tatton Park

    Tatton Park

Wandering around Tatton park, Chesire, England, in search of amazing skies and reflections and just to absorbs myself in nature for a while. The place is full of history, beautiful escapist walks and has a grand old house and fancy gardens. It is one of my favourite places to go with my family, relax and feel inspired!

    Rope Bridge

    Rope Bridge

Taking a stroll over Carrick-a-rede rope bridge in Ireland. Such an incredible destination, another must have for Game of Thrones fans or anyone visiting Ireland. The north coast is gorgeous. I was out capturing seascapes, cliffs and landscapes shots. The coast has so much diversity I was able to get a great range of shots in one day trip.

    Print hunt

    Print hunt

A shadow portrait of myself taken in Dublin where I took a weekend out to dedicate myself to hunting down some amazing images for prints aswell as tackling some street photography in the very busy city. I fell in love with this painting and it always reminds me of the incredible artwork I saw both in galleries and on the street in Dublin.

    On set

    On set

A hurried self portrait (hey lets not be pretentious , its a selfie, I took a selfie Okay) on set of a great photoshoot with a musician. It was smokey, arty and grungy. I just loved the feel of it and how it made me feel. The results were some of my favourite portraits I have shot and I wanted to remember myself in the moment.

    By the river

    By the river

A candid snap of me walking along the River Lagan in Belfast, Ireland. It is a beautiful spot on the tow path, popular with families, cyclists and dog walkers. I often get very distracted from work by peoples dogs. I had just snapped my Swan droplet print on this afternoon. The weather was beautiful (especially for Ireland) and I was off to the cafe to reward myself with hot chocolate. yum. x

    Waterfalls

    Waterfalls

My photography adventures inevitabley lead to me climbing, running, crawling and generally getting in a state in order to get the shot I want. In this shot I've managed to stop for a moment and allow my mum ( who I was taking on a tour of Ireland) to snap a picture. I am halfway through climbing up and through a waterfall. This happens alot. I tend to jump from rock to rock and scurry around taking shots. Ive found that all the best angles are the ones with no pathway to. But they say in life you should make your own path x

    The Dark Hedges

    The Dark Hedges

I made an impromptu stop at the world famous Dark Hedges, The most famous location from Game of Thrones which is filmed here in Northern Ireland. It took me so very very long to get a shot without people in it. The place is so popular. And rightly so it is stunning to behold.
