His work “Spirit” captures the mood with his excellent rendering in oil. His painting “Tzar” is a fine example of his attention to detail as seen especially seen in the treatment of the fur."
Hi! My name is Dragan Gilic (I sign my paintings with my nickname Gile).
I have been painting since my early childhood. It is the backbone of my entire life. I am devoted to figurative, realistic painting. I express myself using diverse techniques, from pencil, pastel and watercolours to oils. In the framework ranging from the quick brush strokes to the long-lasting technique of the Old Masters in multiple layers, there is enough space to involve all of my moods, wishes, tendencies, ideals... I like to paint people and animals, trying to discover and grasp their true nature and emotions.
I am a member of International Guild of Realism (Scottsdale, USA), which gathers together realist painters from all over the world. My paintings have been mostly exhibited in the United States, at national and international juried exhibitions.
