About Denise Coble
Biography
I have always had a life long love of the local flora and fauna and art , and have painted and sketched ever since I can remember . After studying art at school and college I went onto train in Natural History Illustration at the Dyfed College of Art in Wales (1988-90). From there I went on to illustrate a variety of books and was with the SGA Illustration Agency for a number of years.
Clients have included - Letts Educational Publishing, Scholastic Books, Autumn Publishing, Dominie Press.
Since starting a family , I decided to go freelance , to have more freedom and work around my children.
This summer I was very privileged to be invited to be 'artist in residence' at Nature in Art Museum in Gloucester.
