  • Biography
I was born in Houston, TX in 1957.  I attended college at Baylor University as a pre-med student and also Texas A&M University where I graduated with honors.  After college I furthered my education by doing graduate work in painting at The University of Hawaii.  I married in 1980 and began working as a medical illustrator at The Texas A&M University Health Sciences Center where I stayed for fifteen years.  After this job I left to do freelance illustration work.  Growing tired of commission work and wanting to pursue my fine arts painting, I left Texas and moved to Santa Fe, NM, the third largest art center in the United States.  I found gallery representation and stayed for twelve years.  I then left the gallery to set up my own studio/gallery.  I also exhibited in juried shows both regionally, nationally and internationally.  Wanting to pursue an online gallery, and through an artist friend, I found out about Artfinder.
