About Benjamin Self

I have been creating art for around 40 years, I went to art college and qualified as an Illustrator. I started work as an Illustrator working on instruction manuals for aircraft flight simulators and I have worked freelance/part-time ever since. I am now full-time freelance, I will illustrate most subjects but most of my demand is for classic automobiles which also happens to be my passion. I currently offer an unusual combination of highly detailed realistic images completed on stretched or rigid canvas using a combination of airbrushed and hand-painted acrylic paint. My main markets have been Europe and USA, my reason for wishing to sell on Artfinder is that I feel the style of my work fits in well with the work I have been looking at on the site, and Artfinder is the market leader for the supply of original artwork.
