    During the covid period, I moved to my hometown from Moscow. Here the social and political discontent of the population is especially acute. ▽ The photo was taken at the local market. Behind me is the old building of the radio factory (former KGB). When it closed, about 2,000 people lost their jobs. After that, a nightclub, a parking lot, restaurants, shops were built on the territory of the former factory. Most of this has closed too. Once upon a time, the inhabitants of our country lived with faith in a bright future. Our time doesn’t offer new projects of the future, as if the very possibility of imagining a variant of the future that is radically different from the present has disappeared.
