About Anna Zamurueva

Painting for me is such a way of knowing the world around and the world that is inside me. In the pictures I try to convey the image from what I saw, born of living observation and my own experiences.

 Painting is the way to be yourself or the hope to become yourself by connecting with nature.

The contemplation of life and its endless changes is the impetus for the creation of new works. Natura is by far the main teacher and inspirer, but also my teachers are great masters of the past. I aspire to continue the traditions of the Russian school of painting, I am inspired by such artists as Nesterov M., Korovin K., Serov V., Levitan I.
