  • Biography
    I have been a painter from the time others convinced me I was an artist. My university experience includes the former Sophie Newcomb College, New Orleans, Washington University St. Louis and the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, Philadelphia, PA. I attended summer school at Columbia University in New York. After university I worked in the film industry in New York City, ending my NYC life as an Associate Producer for Director Frank Perry.  Moving to London after my father's death I worked for Warner Bros. I traveled to Ireland and the Mideast on research projects. After my son was born we moved to France settling in La Garde Freinet, a small village in Provence. There I began my art career. drawing for four years.  I moved back to the States to California in 1981. I began my formal professional art career, exhibiting extensively at that time. My work is always original. My influences are Van Gogh, Bonnard, and Matisse. I am privately collected in the United States, the UK, and France. I am represented by the Asheville Art Museum in North Carolina. My work is privately collected and is in corporate collections. I am currently represented by Four Corners Gallery in Mooresville, NC.
