About Ann Gusè

Drawing makes me feel free and happy. It's a part of me and my life.

When I paint, I abstract myself from the world. I switch off from everything else in life, time stops.

I love to draw and I love myself when I draw. I love time in my studio.

I like when my husband stops by to admire my work. For me it is important that people like my paintings. It gives me the strength and inspiration to work and to be more creative.

I love oil colors and watercolors. I love everything about them: the smell, texture, color, saturation and transparency. I love my full palette colors, and when the color comes from the overflow from one color to another.

I like to draw portraits, architecture, and still life. I want to show the world my paintings.
