Biography
Expressing myself
through painting alone grants me a freedom nothing else can provide.
When in control of the brush, but not my emotions, I become part of the
creation by painting myself in a different form.
The intensity of the colors the patterns, contrast, and duality when painting take me to a marvelous, consuming world of things pleasing to the eye I don’t want to leave. I believe everything has its beauty, a beauty that I want to preserve. I offer, as a gift, my vision through the art I share. My goal is to express, and allow others to see my thoughts through my eyes. Painting with oils better conveys my message, or so I think: the mark of oil is everlasting permanent, as my thoughts are and allows me to immortalize my dreams, my fears and ideas.
I have exhibited my works in the Alwun house in Phoenix, at several MCC art shows, in Tempe public Library, and the Phoenix Art Museum. I plan to continue my work in capturing expressions I see which so impact me, be it in a realistic form or surreal manner. I want to share them with those whom I know personally, as well as with the rest of the world.
