I accept commissions and will create a customised artwork for you. Please send me a message.
I became disabled in my hands about ten years ago and I decided it would not detere me from still producing my art. I use splints on my fingers and sometimes on my wrists to help support me when I paint. I have Systemic Lupus and Ehelers Danlos Sydrome. I hope to inspire people with disabilities to live their lives to the fullest.
In 2014 I was one of the Top 100 artist at the Thami Mnyele Fine Arts Awards, South Africa. I have exhibited at the Pretoria Art Museum (The Miniature Art group), ABSA Art Gallery (Atlier Art Competition) and had artwork sold at a Sotheby's Exhibition in Rosebank South Africa.
I have participated in group exhibitions with The Paint and Palette Group, The Miniature Art Society of South Africa and Figures & Forms Art Group.
I work as an artist and illustrator and sketch with the Joburg Sketcherd Art Group (affiliated to the International Urban Sketchers).
I hold an NQF Level 6 BA Visual Arts and attended The Johannesburg Art Foundation under the guidance of Simon Stone and the late Bill Ainsley. I have a certificate in Painting, Print Making and Sculpture.
Art lives in my bloodstream. It is such a huge part of me to be creative. Art is the place where I can find time standing still. I love creating art. I want to respect my dreams by taking my creativity seriously and sending out into the world.
