About Amie Gonser
Biography
I have been an artist and art educator for over twenty years. Creating art, more specifically plein air landscape paintings, is my passion. When I am outdoors, painting the landscape, all the stress and worries of the world fade away. Every painting has a story behind it, the location that day, the weather, the sounds and the people who stop by to see what I am doing. It truly is my happy place.
I recently opened 620 Art Gallery & Studio in Round Rock, Texas. I would love to sell more art and have that aid the success of my gallery. Opening a gallery during the pandemic has been a challenge, but it has been a dream of mine for over ten years and when the perfect location came up in my community, I jumped on it. My mission for the gallery is to make art accessible to everyone, regardless of economic status or other criteria that divide us.
