Event: Catwalk Show of Art

A four month outdoor sculpture exhibition of painted fiberglass sculptures to support the Feral Cat Society in Sydney, Nova Scotia.
Event: Synthesis

Synthesis was a one month solo show of art created in the past few years. It held my encaustic work as well as acrylics and mixed media. Colouratura Art Gallery is situated in the picturesque Cabot Trail in Cape Breton

Biography
Having taught visual arts for fifteen years, Alison now dedicates her time exploring her interest in nature and the human form, sometimes using techniques where the shape and colour are created with cut paper.
Alison and a partner completed a Canada 150 project travelling the Trans Canada Highway. The 106 piece collection exhibited in 2018 in Montreal, receiving radio and print attention from across the country, including the “Billie” magazine from New Brunswick.
Alison’s work has been exhibited in British Columbia, Ontario, Quebec, and Nova Scotia. Her paintings can be found in private collections, the Art Ontario Gallery and Colouratura Gallery.
Alison lives and paints in Sydney, Nova Scotia.
