    My entry for The National Brain Appeal's A Letter in Mind charity exhibition held at Gallery@Oxo Tower, 2-5 October 2014. Each piece was sold anonymously for £80, with over £10,000 being raised for the charity.

    Don't you just love a red dot on preview night?! My piece sold for £80, along with many others. Over £10,000 was raised for The National Brain Appeal. A great success!

    A Letter In Mind - The National Brain Appeal - October 2014

    My entry on a shelf alongside other great pieces Charity exhibition - 2-5 October, Gallery@Oxo Artists and designers were asked to create a unique piece of art using a simple white envelope and the title, A Letter in Mind, as the starting point. Each artist was sent a pack containing the all-important envelope. There were hundreds of entries from across the country, from established and emerging names in the worlds of art and design. The envelopes were built in, drawn on, painted, written on, wired, cooked, collaged, sewn and even had artworks sealed inside them. Some high profile names created masterpieces, too – Grayson Perry, Elisa Sighicelli, Natasha Kidd, Threadneedle Prize exhibitor Gill Rocca, Frank Kiely, Association of Illustrators 2014 winner Chris Haughton and RIBA award-winning architect Amin Taha to name but a few. Not only that, their esteemed Headliners got in on the act: Sophie Thompson, winner of this year’s Celebrity Masterchef, and Joanna David and Emilia Fox all submitted pieces. Each piece was sold anonymously for £80, with details of the artist being passed over to the buyer upon purchase. Over 1,000 visitors came to the gallery@Oxo to see the exhibition and over £10,000 was raised!
