About Aisylu Zaripova

I am Tbilisi based young artist with the background in architecture. I finished art school and then got Bachelor degree in architecture. And now use all my experience in current artworks. I work in different mediums and techniques and create architectural fantasies, drawings watercolor paintings and book illustrations. My main sources of inspiration are urban space, constructions and industrial architecture. Opposite to strict and brutal architectural artworks I create watercolor illustrations based on stories and tales of my hometown in Tatarstan. Also, I travel a lot to explore new cultures and places. In 2018 I was a finalist in “Krob” Drawing Competition (USA). In 2019 was collaboration with a perfume brand “Les Elixir” (New York). Also, I have an art blog and in 2019 - 2021 I was “Lamy Fountain Pen” Ambassador. In 2022 I took part in Tbilisi Watercolor Festival and had my Solo exhibition also in Tbilisi.
