Beautiful painting but arrived broken twice due to inadequate packaging. The artist kindly offered to do a second after the first arrived broken. The second arrived smashed into bits. It was an icon painted on glass but surely there was a way to pack it so that it could have arrived safely. I appreciate how Artfinder handled the issue but I finally gave up and asked for a refund.

In the past I sent dozens of glass icons in America and Europe similar packed which always reached their destination intact and unbroken. That’s why I consider to be a really unfortunate event that the icon broke twice during shipment to the same client. In order to find out why this happened I made a complaint to the courier. I’m still waiting for an answer from it. From my point of view I am deeply sorry that one of my best work it was destroyed twice.

The canvas is smaller than described and also cut at an angle which will make it impossible to frame or mount. Refund requested.

Hello, I’ve been informed that Artfinder will refund you. Personally, I agree with this as I wish that my art would belong to those clients who really love it, appreciate it and are 100% satisfied with their purchase. I’ve been trying to contact you for two times, but I haven’t received any feedback yet until the day I got that review. As for work’s dimensions, I measured carefully and I posted them on site. The PFL on which the canvas is mounted is hand-cut and it might not be a 90 degrees perfect angle, but I don’t think this makes the framing impossible. For future works, I shall frame these miniatures myself, in order not to cause any inconvenience to customers, but the price itself for the painting and the shipping will go up.
