Inspired by the lupins growing along the allotment pathway in my hometown of Saltburn in North Yorkshire, these are reduction linocut prints; using just one block of lino and a process of carving away the lino between each colour layer to produce the final image.
They are a limited variable edition print with three colourway versions - Version 2 in orange is an edition of 9 prints using Lawrence oil-based inks and printed Clairefontaine Japanese Simili Printmaking Paper, 130 gsm.
My linocuts are handmade from start to finish - hand carved, inked and handprinted, and as such they will have small variations between prints - making each print into a unique artwork.
As these prints are quite large, they will be sent packaged in a reinforced tube.
If you have any questions, please just get in touch and thanks for taking a look!
