More than anything, I paint in order to find a place far away from the stresses and strains of modern life. I mainly paint landscapes that I would want to be in myself, to inhabit and become one with. I strive to create a space for contemplation and thoughts to flit around in my work, and hope to provide a calming and tranquil place for viewer to rest one's gaze. I certainly felt as though I found that feeling when painting this piece.

The piece is painted using exceptional quality Old Holland and Winsor and Newton Artists' series oil paints and mediums with the highest ratings of permanence and light-fastness on a fine grain fully-archival canvas panel measuring 40cm by 40cm, which will fit many ready made frames.

The painting will be packaged following best-practice guidelines and despatched by signed for and fully tracked courier. It is signed on the reverse and comes with a certificate of authenticity.

All paintings are unframed unless otherwise stated.

I endeavour to estimate shipping charges as accurately as possible. In the event of overcharging, I will refund the difference through Artfinder, and will bear the cost of any undercharging myself.

Outside of the UK and America there may be local duty / tax. If so, this is payable by the collector prior to delivery - the postal service/courier for your country will request payment if any is due. VAT on art imports is usually at a reduced rate compared with general VAT ratings.
