As the afternoon edges towards its end, I spend a last few hours visiting Wimbledon. A modernist building catches my eye, evocative, sturdy, reminiscent of 1970s confidence and a quest for sunlight through large windows. I note the light blue panels that remind me of childhood. Just to the right begins a row of Victorian houses, solid and inviting.
This colourful, cheerful work is a wonderful addition to any collection. Texture has been added to create extra depth. The canvas is 0.5 inches deep and can therefore hang without a frame if wished
