Hot summer days are the perfect time for lush forest herbs to grow. And this time, my attention was caught by the pretty and delicate flowers of the snow-white wild chamomile. The bouquet of these inflorescences has a shy character but also has its own exquisite charm. Their delicate fragrance, very light and almost elusive. Inspired by the beauty of this summer bouquet I painted the sketch in oil on paper. The restrained coloring of the composition gives an opportunity to decorate any interior. It is also an exquisite piece of artwork that would make a wonderful gift for a loved one.

The composition is authentic and original.

Oil paints based on natural pigments were used. Damar varnish and linseed oil were added.

The base is 300g/m2 paper primed with acrylic paste. Paper sheet size 17.5x12.5 inch with write borders around the perimeter. Outline dimensions 17.0x12.0 inch excluding white borders (see additional photos). Framing and wall fixing elements not included.

The technique of painting is author's. The layers of paint are thin. Varnish for the top coat is not used.
