Artwork description:

This photograph is an overhead view observing a surfer wading across Wategos Beach, one of the many beaches around Byron Bay in New South Wales, Australia.
The capture turned out quite minimalist, this may helped by the lack of a horizon and compression of perspective by the telephoto lens - it also have a hint of surveillance to it like Big Brother is watching. In the end I found it reminded me a little bit of a painting which made me stop and choose to work on it and create a limited edition series from it.

Also available in other sizes:
42x59cm - edition of 50

Beautifully Giclée printed on Hahnemuhle Pearl paper - a slightly textured 285 gsm. semi-gloss paper which holds more detail with punchier colours than a matt paper, whilst maintaining a illustrative/ painted feel.

Technology: Epson UltraChrome HDR Wide Gamut Inks with archival life expectancy: 40 years daylight, 200 years in dark.

All prints are professionally printed to ensure the absolute best quality and consistency. I pride myself in strict quality control, hence I only use top professional printers based here in London, that I am content use very strict colour consistency checks and use the very best of printing techniques available. This of course greatly increases production costs, but give me and my customers the peace of mind that I deliver a supreme quality artwork.
