Original artwork description:

This is a steep Volcano drawn from outside Ferguson Unit 8, Chateaux Tongariro, Tongariro National Park, New Zealand. The weather was very changeable during our stay and this Volcano would appear and disappear throughout the day. This is an expressive Oil Pastel sketch done on one of the occasions it was visible and I wanted to show the prehistoric feeling that this steep cone shape and the open crater at the top gives. You can really feel that the earth is still very much alive in places like this and can only hope for a safe passage through the area. New Zealand is a very volcanic and seismically active land.
A note to International Buyers:
Shipping rates have increased in price all around the world due to Covid and other complications. Due to this I have had to increase the the cost of shipping my artworks in line with the Delivery Companies. I will always strive to find the cheapest possible option for the customer (usually my local POST OFFICE EMS Recorded Delivery, but unfortunately they don’t deliver worldwide at the moment) If the amount of shipping charged at purchase is less than the shipping company charges then I will refund the difference to the customer. This refund will be done after the picture has arrived safely and has been accepted.
Any import duties, taxes and charges that may be payable are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges, if applicable, will be the responsibility of the buyer. Please message me to check if this might affect your purchase.
